Under this output UNATCOM conducted baseline assessment and training of technical officers in 9 District Local Governments of Apac, Amuru, Adjumani, Moyo, Arua, Kiryadongo, Nebbi, Nwoya and Oyam and did an assessment-only in the Murchison Falls National Park.
40 teachers were also trained on Energy Management in Educational Institutions and conducted a Consultative workshop for 24 stakeholders in the Energy for a coordination framework.

UNATCOM embarked on advocacy for domestication of conventions on Science, Technology Climate change and Disaster Management and compiled the list of conventions under the natural science programme.
Risk reduction improved, early warning of natural hazards strengthened and disaster preparedness and resilience enhanced
UNATCOM produced and disseminated the study report on the Geo-hazards vulnerability and risk profiles in hot-spot for early warnings, disaster preparedness and also prepared database for installation on the website, department of Disaster Management, Office of Prime Minister.
