Young Professional Programme (YPP).
This is in response to your inquiry about UNATCOM's participation in the Young Professional Programme (YPP).
Uganda is not eligible for the Young Professional Programme in UNESCO because as a country we have reached the maximum required number of staff at the headquarter.
This programme provides ten (10) recent college graduates and young professionals under the age of 30 with the opportunity to start a career in an international organization.
The Young Professional Programme is geared specifically for candidates from unrepresented or under-represented countries in the UNESCO Secretariat. The eligibility of a Member State is determined at the date of the call for applications.
UNESCO informs the National Commissions and Permanent Delegations of Members States that are eligible to participate in this Programme.
Candidates send their applications to the National Commission/Permanent Delegation of their country of citizenship. UNESCO does not accept applications sent directly to the Organization
